Dock Fishing Guide

Enjoy a chance to catch bluegill, bass, or even striped bass while respecting dock access and Port hours.

Know before you cast

Fish safely and courteously.

Shore anglers may find bluegill, bass, and striped bass around the Port. Access depends on the time of day and whether an allowed dock is being used for its primary purpose.

Open fishing hours5:00 AM–10:00 PM

Fish only during open hours

Shore fishing is permitted only during the Port’s open hours of 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Use only allowed docks

Fish only from docks marked for conditional fishing access on the map. Do not fish from the Rowing Club docks.

Yield when a dock is needed

The Sailing Club dock may be used for fishing only when it is not otherwise in use. The WOC dock may be used only when it is not needed for boat launching.
